It is something that exists in the gulf between me and the plants, that emerges from the landscape. At times they're frightening, like a gaze I've known for ages. Sometimes a fly slips into their midst, looking warm and cozy. But there is no truth in what a plant is to me and what a fly is to a plant. All that is there is that they are living in the same moment. What is standing there.
